OBJECTIVE

The purpose of Chi Kung is to promote the movement of energy (Chi) in the body.

This is done by opening certain doors and stretching the energy channels.

Relaxation and deep breathing are the key points to allow Chi to flow without blockages.

Blockages can translate into negative physical effects, resulting in localized contractures or pain.

From an emotional point of view, blocks can translate into depression and the opposite as with stress and anxiety for example.

That is why some of the movements practiced are smooth and slow and others more vigorous.

There are more expansive and more subtle movements.

In the difference in movements and the speed with which they are made, they make their specific effect on the body and mind more effective.

The more you practice, the greater your understanding of the purpose of each movement.

So you have the possibility that in each movement, it becomes more pleasant and fluid.

The effect of Chi Kung is felt, according to practitioners, to affect the mind, body and spirit.

So they feel benefits in general health, well-being, less stress and a more balanced view of life.

Chi kung can be practiced exclusively or combined with Tai Chi for example.
