HISTORY

The origin of this philosophy is thousands of years old and is thought to have originated in the ceremonial dances of Chinese tribes.

Over time the movements were systematized creating health exercises kept and practiced daily by each tribe.

One of China's legendary emperors, Huang Di, is thought to have practiced Chi Kung daily and lived for over a hundred years.

Later during the War of the States of China between 419 BC-220 AD many Chinese scholars and scholars developed various practices and philosophies.

Alchemists tried to use Chi Kung to achieve immortality along with diets and herbs.

That is why it is said that many have even lived to remarkable ages.

Various Chi Kung systems have emerged, including Baduajin, which is still today, among the most widely spoken and practiced systems worldwide.

Throughout the millennia Chi Kung has been practiced by intellectuals, warriors, monks and ordinary people.
